FA TROPHY PREVIEW | Chester vs Lancaster City

The Blues’ focus turns to the Isuzu FA Trophy this weekend, hosting Northern Premier side Lancaster City.

A much changed Blues team were beaten on penalties in the Cheshire Senior Cup in midweek, but Calum McIntyre’s men come into this game now with just one defeat in 90 minutes in their last 19 matches in all competitions.

The squad has also been bolstered ahead of the game, with forward Charlie Caton joining on an initial 28-day loan from Shrewsbury Town.

Lancaster City sit 17th in the Northern Premier Division with 19 points from 17 games.
