FA YOUTH CUP | Blues host Grimsby Town at the Deva next Wednesday!

Chester FC will entertain Grimsby Town in the next round of the FA Youth Cup, with the Third Round Qualifying tie taking place on Wednesday 13th October at the Deva Stadium.

Kick off will be 7.30pm with admission prices as follows:

£4 Adults
£1 Concessions/Under 18s

Academy Head Coach Calum McIntyre said: “This is a huge draw for our Under 18’s. To be drawn against a side that at Youth level that are ultimately still an EFL member is a huge test in the qualifying rounds.

“We have had some terrific nights here against higher ranked opposition and we will need a big crowd here behind us if we are going to cause an upset.

“These Youth Cup games are costly to host given the requirements of staging a football match at our ground. I hope there is a good crowd and uptake on the hospitality on offer to help us offset these costs and create a terrific atmosphere for the boys.”

The Young Blues have beaten Clitheroe, Irlam and Altrincham all down CH1 in previous rounds so far and are yet to concede a goal in the process.
