Tickets will then become ‘pay on the gate’ on the day of the game.

Steve Walters, Director of the Offside Trust, said: “We hope to raise further awareness and some important funds for the Offside Trust.

“This game arose after working on a soccer abuse storyline recently. Hollyoaks raised importance issues to a younger audience and we hope this game can push that even further.”

Chester FC Chairman David Harrington-Wright said: “The opportunity for Chester FC to work alongside the Offside Trust really was a no brainier for us.

“The work carried out by the great team at Offside Trust is fantastic and a much needed resource for all clubs and sporting associations.

“To be able to host a game at the Swansway Chester Stadium to raise vital funds is the least we can do.

“It should be a fantastic occasion with good football and great atmosphere so I really hope we can fill the stadium for them on the day.”

The Offside Trust was established in 2016 following high-profile revelations about child sexual abuse in football. The organisation is committed to supporting survivors of abuse and working to make sport safer for children.

Chester FC and Chester FC Community Trust are proud to support the work of the Offside Trust and we look forward to seeing you at the end of March attending this game to support a worthy cause; and an exciting opportunity to see some stars!
