Harrison Burke named National League North Player of the Month!
Chester FC are delighted to announce that Harrison Burke has been named Vanarama National League North Player of the Month for November 2024!
Harrison’s excellent performances last month have earned him recognition, contributing at both ends of the pitch.
He started in all six of our league games last month, as we won four and lost just once.
From defence, Harrison contributed one assist and also three goals. A late winner at Needham Market, the crucial second goal in a 2-1 win over then leaders Chorley and a late equaliser in our draw at Warrington Town on the 30th.
Burke becomes the second Chester FC player to win this award this season, with Charlie Caton being recognised back in August.
Manager Calum McIntyre said: “This is a terrific accolade for Harrison to receive and everyone around the club is absolutely delighted for him.
“It is appropriate recognition for a really good of form during the last calendar month. Whilst it is easy to highlight his goal return from Set Pieces recently, what is more pleasing is his overall performance.
“Harrison continues to improve and his versatility and adaptability make him an absolute Manager’s Dream.
“Our supporters always want to see a local player do well and it is particularly special when an Academy Graduate is thriving in the First Team.
“I am really pleased for Harrison and his family (who follow him everywhere and support him so well) and look forward to seeing his rich run of form continue for the rest of the season.”
