Harrison Burke reaches 150 Chester FC appearances!

Yesterday’s victory over Southport was a milestone for one of our own, Harrison Burke.

The defender became just the seventh player to reach 150 appearances for the reformed club.

‘Burkey’ becomes the first reformed academy graduate to complete this feat – joining current teammates Kevin Roberts and Declan Weeks – as well as George Horan, Craig Mahon, George Glendon and Anthony Dudley.

The 22-year-old has scored an impressive 22 goals in his 150 games, with exactly half of them coming this season in a remarkable goalscoring campaign.

Last weekend, Harrison was named CFU Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season  – both for the second successive campaign – making it a hat-trick on the night when he scooped up the Away Travel Player of the Season as well.

Burkey is an incredible asset to our club both on and off the field, and we are very lucky to have him. Congratulations, Harrison!
