Jimmy Storer joins Chester FC on loan!

Chester FC are pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Jimmy Storer from Wolves on loan for the rest of the season!

The 6′ 5″ stopper, who has been capped at U19 level for Ireland, joins us in time for tomorrow’s trip to Buxton.

20-year-old Storer had an extremely positive loan during the first half of the campaign at Darlaston Town, who currently sit 8th in the Northern Premier Division One (Midlands).

Manager Calum McIntyre said: “Jimmy becomes another young Goalkeeper that joins us from a Premier League club in recent years.

“He joins us after a really successful loan spell further down the pyramid and we are really pleased to get him.

“It was important that we brought a goalkeeper in after Elyh’s return to Manchester United and Jimmy is a really good fit.

“We had significant goalkeeping options but knew what we wanted. He has got senior experience already this season, he is an impressive physical profile and is highly thought of at Wolves.

“We have a decent track record with goalkeepers in recent seasons and we trust that Jimmy will be the latest young Goalkeeper that develops in his time with us.

“We thank Wolves for trusting us with the next stage of his development and look forward to seeing Jimmy in a Chester shirt.”

    Welcome aboard, Jimmy!
