MATCH PREVIEW | Blues visit Rylands and Trafford in busy weekend
Chester FC make two trips in the space of 24 hours – starting tonight – in their last weekend of pre-season before the big kick off on 3rd August.
Tonight, a young Blues XI visit Rylands. Academy Head Coach Calum McIntyre takes a team of scholars and academy graduate – as the stars of the future get another chance to shine at Gorsey Lane.
It will be a real tough test against a side who are fresh off the back of a title win – moving the home side into the North West Counties Premier. They will face the likes of 1874 Northwich, who the Blues beat 4-1 on Tuesday.
Then tomorrow the Blues take on Trafford at Shawe View. The Urmston based side finished 9th in the Evo-Stik West Division last term. Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley will be watching closely as it will be just seven days until the trip to Boston United – as their starting XI for that game gets closer.
Admission tonight is £3, pay on the gate at Rylands. Kick off is 7.30pm.
Tomorrow, we visit Trafford for a 3pm kick off. (M41 5DL). Admission is £5 Adults, £3 Concessions, £1 U16’s.
