MATCH PREVIEW | Brackley Town vs Chester

The in-form Blues face perhaps their toughest test of the season so far tomorrow – as they make the trip to face Brackley Town.

It’s 5th vs 6th in the National League North tomorrow. Whilst the Blues have fended off all-comers at the Swansway, this is a tough test away at a notoriously difficult ground to visit.

However, they will take confidence from being nine unbeaten in the division – a superb run. A 4-1 win over Ashton on Tuesday made it two wins in four days for Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley’s side.

Steve Howson’s red card from the Alfreton game has been appealed, so there is a chance the experienced defender could feature tomorrow afternoon.

Brackley meanwhile had a fantastic season last term. Under the stewardship of Kevin Wilkin, they finished in the National League North play-off places. Unfortunately they were beaten in the Final by Harrogate Town; but they ended the season on a true high – winning the FA Trophy at Wembley on penalties against Bromley.
