MATCH PREVIEW | Bradford (Park Avenue) vs Chester FC

The Blues will be looking to build on Saturday’s thumping win over Boston United, with a trip to Bradford PA next on the agenda for Bern and Jonno’s side.

A 4-1 success on Saturday was the perfect tonic after three consecutive league defeats. It was done in style, with Akwasi Asante, Anthony Dudley, Craig Mahon and George Waring all on target at the Swansway Chester Stadium.

Victory moved Chester FC up to 8th in the league, on the edge of the Play-Off places. A win in Yorkshire tomorrow would assure them a place back in the Play-Offs with 11 games remaining. But that will be by no means an easy task.

Despite a current disappointing run of form, Bradford PA will be pleased to be sat 6th in the league, two points above the Blues having played a game less. Chester pulled off a coup in signing winger Ben McKenna from BPA last month, although he has missed the last two league games through injury. Akwasi Asante was taken off at half time last weekend, and may not feature. However, better news in midfield is that Sean McAllister is likely to return from injury.

Earlier on this term, these two teams played out an incredible eight goal thriller.

Chester, on their return to the Swansway Chester Stadium following infrstructure damage, took all three points in a 5-3 win. Dan Mooney and Anthony Dudley both notched a brace, aided by a superb solo Craig Mahon goal back in September.

A big game tomorrow then in the quest for promotion – as the Blues look to pick up momentum following that victory six days ago. Come on you Blues!
