MATCH PREVIEW | Chester vs Brackley Town

For the final time this season, the Blues play at the Swansway Chester Stadium in the National League North tomorrow.

3rd placed Brackley Town provide the opposition, a very strong side who still mathematically have a chance of the title – but realistically come to Chester looking to nail down a top three finish and a guaranteed home Play-Off Semi Final.

The reverse fixture in November was a cracker in which the Blues snatched a vital point. Dan Mooney was the hero that day with two goal of the season contender strikes – the last in injury time – in a 2-2 draw.

A convincing three-goal victory on Good Friday made it a fantastic Friday for Bern and Jonno’s side in the last game; victory at Ashton United made it just one loss in seven. They go into this game four points off the play-offs with two games to play. Regardless of the Blues final league position, it has been a season of promise after a campaign of agony this time last year.

Can the Blues sign off in style at the Deva? Kick off tomorrow is 3pm.
