MATCH PREVIEW | Darlington vs Chester

The Blues will look to put right their away day troubles tonight – with a long trip to the North East to face Darlington in the National League North.

This game is rearranged, after the original game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch on the morning of Saturday 16th March.

Chester lost their 9th away match of the season at Altrincham last time on the road – conceding four second half goals and losing Scott Burton to a red card.

The Club Captain Burton is back from suspension, as is George Green who has served a four match ban.

Asante has a ‘perfect’ record against Darlington. He made his Blues debut at the Deva in December and marked it in style. Scoring with his left foot, right foot and head to win the game 3-1 for Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley’s side.

Darlington arrested their slump of no win in five with a tight 2-1 victory over basement side Nuneaton on Saturday away from home. Steve Thompson and Jordan Nicholson were on target for Tommy Wright’s side – who now sit nine points clear of the drop zone and on their way to securing safety.
