MATCH PREVIEW | Hereford vs Chester

    The Blues and Hereford will look to beat the freeze and do battle in the National League North this midweek.

    Chester’s home game with Peterborough Sports was postponed on Saturday due to a frozen pitch, while Hereford won 1-0 at Buxton in one of only four league games to take place over the weekend.

    This game was originally set to take place in the middle of December, but was called off due to similar conditions last month. Since that postponement, the Blues remain unbeaten in the league, currently on a run of four successive draws.

    Please note, a pitch inspection for this fixture is currently scheduled for 11am. We would advise any supporters to keep an eye on both ours and Hereford’s social channels for further updates leading up to the game.

    Kick off on Tuesday evening is scheduled for 7.45pm.

    Segregation is in operation at all matches; the away section is situated in the Len Weston Stand, accessed from Edgar Street. Admission is by ticket only with no cash turnstiles; Hereford strongly recommend that tickets are bought in advance online.

    DIRECTIONS

    Edgar Street is part of the main A49 road running through the centre of Hereford. Coming from the M5, take junction 7 (Worcester South) and follow signs for A4103 Hereford. At Hereford follow the A4103 until it joins the A49. Follow the A49 to the ground on the left, turn left immediately after the ground into Blackfriars Street. Turn left into the Merton Meadow car park. The main Club entrance is ten yards after the turning on the left.

    Refreshments are available to purchase inside the ground. Matchday programmes will be available from sellers around the ground priced at £2.

    Hereford FC have limited club car parking available on a matchday at Edgar Street. There is a large Council owned Pay & Display car park adjacent to the ground, and several pay and display car parks within a 10 minute walk of the ground.
