MATCH PREVIEW | King’s Lynn Town vs Chester | National League North
It’s 3rd vs 2nd this weekend in arguably the game of the day in the National League North – as the Blues face a lengthy trip to King’s Lynn Town.
The Linnets have got off to a flying start in the sixth tier after being promoted via a ‘super play-off’ last season against Warrington Town.
Ian Culverhouse’s side have lost just two games this season – both away – to Guiseley on the opening day, and leaders York City in their last league encounter. Chester face a daunting task tomorrow afternoon against a side who have not lost at home in over a year in all competitions.
However, the Blues will be confident in their own abilities, just one loss all season in the North and only three points behind top of the league. They will also have a significant boost, with it looking increasingly likely Kevin Roberts, Danny Livesey and Gary Stopforth will all make their returns from injury. Jamie Morgan, who was so impressive in place of Roberts, has also now completed a three match ban.
