MATCH PREVIEW | Leamington vs Chester

The Blues face a trip to Leamington this weekend looking to continue their fine form in the National League North.

Calum McIntyre’s men had a productive week at the Deva, picking up maximum points at home and stretching their winning streak to four matches. Tuesday’s excellent victory at home to Kidderminster kept the Blues third but moved them to within three points of leaders AFC Fylde.

Charlie Caton and Adam Thomas were once again on the scoresheet, taking their goal tallies in the league to five and six respectively, backing up top scorer Kurt Willoughby who has a division total of 18.

Leamington have picked up some big results over the past week to climb out of the bottom four, their last home game saw them beat Curzon 4-1 and they backed that up in midweek with an impressive victory at Brackley Town.

Please note, at the time of writing we have been informed that the pitch is currently playable at Leamington. With low overnight temperatures forecast, a precautionary pitch inspection has been scheduled for 8.30am.

Kick off on Saturday afternoon is scheduled for 3pm.
