NEWS | Chester FC Retained List 2021/22
Following the conclusion of the 2021/22 season, Chester Football Club can now confirm its retained list.
The following players are under contract or have agreed new deals with the club:

- George Glendon
- Ollie Heywood
- Kevin Roberts
- Darren Stephenson
- Declan Weeks
The following players have been offered terms for next season:
- Anthony Dudley
- Sam Turner
- Matty Williams
The club remains in discussions with the following players:
- David Fitzpatrick
- Lloyd Marsh-Hughes
- Wyll Stanway
These players have departed the club following the expiry of their contracts:
- Simon Grand
- Louis Gray
- James Hardy
- Danny Livesey
- Drew Lowe
- Rowan Roache
- Okera Simmonds
- George Waring
James Horsfield has been offered the opportunity to return for pre-season training.
The following loan players returned to their parent clubs at the end of the campaign:
- Rob Apter
- Marcus Dackers
- Dan Griffiths
- Matt Sargent
- Matty Waters
