NEWS | Simon Grand’s red card overturned

Chester FC can confirm that defender Simon Grand has seen his red card from Tuesday’s victory over Guiseley overturned.

Grand was due to miss our game at Blyth Spartans on the 23rd January after being sent off in the 68th minute of the midweek win at the Deva.

An appeal was lodged this morning and the red was swiftly reversed, meaning the Blues defender will now be available for selection.
