NEWS | Thank you, Duds!
Chester FC can confirm that Anthony Dudley has departed the club following the expiration of his contract.
Duds departs to pastures new to join Northern Premier Division side Radcliffe, having had five seasons at the Deva, making 170 appearances for the Seals.
He contributed 37 goals and 36 assists in his time down CH1, with his record of appearances putting him second only behind Craig Mahon in games played since our 2010 reformation.
Anthony was initially recruited on loan from Salford City back in the summer of 2018. He won the Golden Boot in his first season and joined on a permanent basis in 2019.
He always gave everything for the cause and showcased his talent on numerous occasions, that incredible assist at AFC Telford on Boxing Day 2020 springs to mind, and his final goal for the Club was a deftly executed header in the 4-0 win over Buxton last month.
He links up with former Blues bosses Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley at the Neuven Stadium, and we wish him the very best in his newest challenge.
Thanks for everything, Duds.
