NEWS | Zack Clarke makes senior league debut for the Blues!

We’d like to congratulate 18-year-old Zack Clarke on making his league debut for the club yesterday afternoon against AFC Telford United!

The striker was part of the squad for the 1-1 draw and came off the bench after an hour to replace Paddy Lacey.

This came 24 hours after Clarke had played 90 minutes for Atherton Collieries in the final game of his loan spell with the Skuna Stadium outfit.

We’d like to thank Atherton for having Zack for the month and wish them the very best for the remainder of the campaign.

On his league debut, Manager Steve Watson had this to say post-match: “I put Zack on to give us some legs.

“I thought he did great on his league debut – particularly after playing 90 minutes the day before! I’m pleased for him. He gave us a lot of energy.”
