NEXT UP | The Blues visit Brackley Town this Saturday!
Chester FC return to action on Saturday afternoon, facing a trip to St James Park and Brackley Town.
The Blues have missed three matches – the fourth being tomorrow night against Farsley Celtic – due to a period self isolation as protocol after several positive COVID-19 tests within the squad.
Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley’s side return to full training later this week ahead of the visit to the Saints.
Over the past two seasons, we have visited Brackley on three occasions…
Brackley Town 2-2 Chester | Saturday 3 November 2018 | National League North
Scorers: Connor Franklin 50, Shane Byrne 59; Dan Mooney 58 & 90+5.
Brackley Town 1-1 Chester | Saturday 2 November 2019 | National League North
Scorers: Thierry Audel 20; Brad Jackson 9.
Brackley Town 0-1 Chester | Saturday 23 November 2019 | Buildbase FA Trophy
Scorer: Anthony Dudley 73.
At present, the Blues sit 8th in the table with three wins and two defeats from our opening five games – although that could change with midweek fixtures in the league. Saturday’s match will be Bern and Jonno’s 100th competitive in charge of the club.
