NLN PREVIEW | Chester vs Curzon Ashton

Chester will look to get back to winning ways this evening with a strong home performance – as Curzon Ashton visit the Deva Stadium.

After a strong start to the campaign with four consecutive wins, the Blues have now lost their last two. They were unfortunate at Spennymoor ten days ago in a 2-1 defeat, but would have been disappointed with Saturday’s FA Cup home loss to Marine.

They face a Curzon side who are unbeaten so far this term with one win and two draws from their first three NLN matches. They were however beaten in the Cup by FC United of Manchester, who have since progressed to the First Round Proper.

Dominic Knowles will be the man to watch for the visitors – scoring four of Curzon’s first five goals in their opening three league games.

The Nash have won 1-0 on each of their last two visits to CH1, and Bern and Jonno’s side will be keen to end that pattern and pick up what would be a huge three points. They are set to welcome back midfielder Paddy Lacey this evening, who has completed his three match ban.

    Kick off tonight is 7.45pm!
