Pitch work begins at the Deva Stadium!
Pitch renovation work has started at the Deva Stadium ahead of the 2025/26 season!
Bring completed by our current Pitch Partners at Greener Grounds, the pitch is being Koro’d to remove unwanted organic material and improve the surface before undergoing a rotosweep to prepare the ground for sand dressing and seeding.
The pitch will be seeded in due course, before a growing programme commences which includes pitch reports and a grow in fertiliser package to assist with germination.
Work is also set to get underway this week on the sprinkler system underneath the pitch.
Courtesy of a successful grant application to the Premier League Stadium Improvement Fund, the club are working with Irrigation Control to have a new system installed, replacing the current one which has been in place since the ground was opened back in 1992.
