Teenage goalkeeper Alex signed for Chester FC in July 2024 after starting pre-season on trial with the club. He put pen to paper on a one-year deal just two days after his 18^th Birthday, after having previous experience with Tranmere Rovers Academy, and last season had loan stints with Jersey Bulls and Vauxhall Motors. After making his National League North debut on the final day of 24/25, Brown has been sent out spend the start of the 25/26 campaign on loan at Prestwich Heys.
