Shorrock joined the Blues in late October on a loan deal until early December from Port Vale. The left-sided wing-back holds the accolade as the Valiants’ youngest-ever player, and has made 30 EFL appearances at the age of 18. Jack joined Port Vale after impressing on trial, following time in the youth setups at both Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers. His performances in the fourth tier earned him the EFL League Two Apprentice of the Year award for the 2024/25 season.
