Jid joined Chester on loan from Stockport County in January 2024. The 19-year-old, who can operate as a full-back or wing-back, is from Germany and started his career with FC St Pauli.  Okeke spent time on loan at Stalybridge Celtic last season, before moving from Oldham Athletic to Stockport County in the summer. He was named on the bench for the first time in County’s win over Walsall the week before he joined Chester.
