Central midfielder Joe signed for Chester at the beginning of June 2022. Lynch started his career at Crewe Alexandra before moving on to Morecambe.

He made his first team debut as a 19-year-old for the Shrimps in the EFL Trophy. Since then, Joe has featured at Lower Breck and spent 2021/22 at Runcorn Linnets.
