Kieran joined Chester FC on loan from Hartlepool United in March 2024. A left-sided defender, the 20-year-old impressed last term at Scarborough Athletic as they finished 8^th in the National League North, missing out on the play-offs on goal difference. He contributed five goals in 34 appearances for the Seadogs in 2022/23, including a hat-trick in a 4-2 win over Kidderminster Harriers. Interest was high for Burton in the summer, who opted to move up a division to join the Pools. He had a spell on loan at Darlington this campaign already, playing against the Blues back in November.
