Tom joined Chester FC on an initial three-month youth loan from Stoke City in September 2023. The 20-year-old arrived down CH1 having made three appearances in the EFL Championship with his parent club as well as being capped twice for Wales at Under-21 level. Tom made 17 appearances on loan at Hamilton Academical last term in the Scottish Championship, helping them to win the Scottish Challenge Cup. He is a versatile player who can operate at full-back, wing-back and also central midfield.
