PREVIEW | Alfreton Town vs Chester

Chester visit Alfreton Town this weekend with just three games remaining in the 2021/22 season.

The Blues sit in 17th place, but could still mathematically end the season as high as 13th or as low as 21st, so plenty still to play for. It was announced this week that Manager Steve Watson will depart the club at the end of the National League North campaign, and the 48-year-old will also be keen to finish with a flourish.

Alfreton meanwhile are the form side in the division. They are unbeaten in eight, and have won their last four in a row, a run which has seen them move to within a point of the play-off places.

Kick off on Saturday afternoon is 3pm.
