Preview: Ashton Athletic (a) & Wythenshawe Town (a)

The Blues face a double header this weekend with pre-season friendlies on consecutive days…

All available first team players are set to play 90 minutes over the weekend, with a handful of trialists also likely to feature on Friday.

Ashton Athletic vs Chester – Friday – 7.30pm

Part one of two sees Calum McIntyre’s side visit Ashton Athletic. The North West Counties League Division One North side were relegated from the Counties Premier last season.

As mentioned above, a selection of Trialists are expected to feature at Brocstedes Park.

Admission is cash at the gate, with prices at £4 for Adults, £2 for Concessions and FREE for Under 16’s.

Wythenshawe Town vs Chester – Saturday – 3pm

The following day we then head to the Ericstan Stadium for a Saturday afternoon fixture against Wythenshawe.

Wythy were also in the North West Counties Premier last season, finishing 3rd above Bury on goal difference – but missing out on promotion to Vauxhall Motors and Avro.

Admission is via cash or card at the game, with prices at £6 for Adults, £4 for Concessions and £1 for Kids.
