PREVIEW | Brackley Town vs Chester

Chester end their 2021/22 campaign with a trip to Brackley Town this weekend.

Monday’s 4-0 win over Bradford (PA) at the Deva moved the Blues up to 16th in the table, and they could end the season even jumping up a further place with victory on the final day.

Brackley have had to settle for second spot and a home Play-Off Semi Final, as Gateshead’s draw at Chorley in the week confirmed the Heed as Champions. Saturday’s opponents have lost just five matches all season, although two of them have come in their last four matches – both at home and by a goal to nil.

The reverse fixture back in February ended all square between the two sides. Declan Weeks blasted Chester in front before a freak stoppage time own goal meant it ended all square.

Kick off on Saturday afternoon is 3pm.
