PREVIEW | Bradford (PA) vs Chester

Chester look to extend their unbeaten start under Steve Watson this weekend, travelling to Bradford (PA).

The Blues got their first away win of the season in their last trip back on Boxing Day, defeating AFC Telford 3-1 at New Bucks Head. Two home draws followed against AFC Fylde and in the reverse against the Bucks, and since our last match there has been plenty of activity in the first team squad.

Jack Redshaw’s loan from Ashton United expired, and his departure was followed by Jamie Morgan joining Altrincham and Dan Cowan movingon to Buxton.

But Manager Watson was quick to strengthen with two impressive acquisitions. The highly-rated attacking player Rob Apter joined on loan from Blackpool, and was joined by left-back David Fitzpatrick. Both could be in line to make their debuts.

They face a Bradford (PA) side who played just once over Christmas, with an injury time strike denying them all three points in a 2-2 draw away at Guiseley.

Kick off on Saturday afternoon is 3pm.
