Preview: Chester FC U19 vs AFC Fylde U19

Chester FC U19 make their first away trip of the year this Wednesday against AFC Fylde.

After securing back-to-back wins last week, the Seals are aiming to continue their impressive form and maintain the pressure on their title rivals.

The hosts sit in eighth place and are unbeaten in their last five games.

In the reverse fixture, Chester defeated the coasters 1-0 in a closely contested affair at the KGV Sports Hub, with an 80th minute winner securing all three points.

After a hard-fought 2-1 win over York City last week, Chester have won seven out of their opening 10 games as we approach the halfway stage of the campaign.

It was a 1-0 win over Hartlepool United for the Lancashire-side in their most recent outing.

Wednesday will be the Blues’ fourth league game in four weeks, before a cup tie next week, as we host Hartlepool United in the quarter-final of the National league U19 Academy Cup.

    • Date – Wednesday 11th February
    • Kick-off – 14:00
    • Venue – Mill Farm Sports Village
    • Competition – National League U19 Alliance North Division
