PREVIEW | Chester vs Kidderminster Harriers

The Blues play their first home game in almost a month to kick off the Easter Weekend, with Kidderminster the visitors.

Chester’s four-match unbeaten run came to an end on Saturday at title-chasing Gateshead, but they went toe-to-toe with the league’s leading scorers, and were perhaps unfortunate not to pick up a point in the 4-3 loss.

Declan Weeks scored for the fourth consecutive game, and was joined on the scoresheet by George Glendon and Darren Stephenson.

The Blues have now scored 62 goals in the league this term, the third highest total, and face the side just above them in the ‘goals for’ category this term.

Russ Penn’s Harriers scored six without reply in their last outing against Southport to move their total up to 65 for the campaign. They sit fourth in the table, four points behind Fylde, looking to chase down that spot which would guarantee a home play-off semi final in May.

On a team news front for Steve Watson’s side, the Manager will have seen his full squad train ahead of the game – however it is expected that Danny Livesey will still miss out as he gradually recovers from his collarbone injury.

Kick off on Friday afternoon is 3pm. Attending the game? Read our #MatchDayInfo: CLICK HERE
