PREVIEW | Chester vs York City

The Blues will be looking to build on Saturday’s win, as York visit for our penultimate home game of the season.

Matty Williams’ first half header, his fifth of the season, gave Chester a 1-0 win over Farsley Celtic on the weekend at the Deva Stadium. It moved the Blues up to 17th in the table and pushed them beyond the 40-point mark.

York meanwhile were dealt a late blow in their quest for the play-offs on Saturday when ten-man Gloucester scored a late penalty to draw 1-1. However, John Askey’s men could up to sixth with victory in this fixture – a crucial game in hand on their promotion rivals.

Manager Steve Watson could welcome back defender Danny Livesey for this game, however he will be without Matty Waters and Dan Griffiths due to injury.

Kick off on Tuesday evening is 7.45pm. Attending the game? Read our #MatchDayInfoCLICK HERE
