PREVIEW | Kettering Town vs Chester

The Blues return to league action on Saturday afternoon with a trip to Kettering Town.

They are looking to bounce back from Tuesday’s disappointing home defeat in the Emirates FA Cup to Marske United. Bern and Jonno will welcome on-loan striker Jack Redshaw back into the squad for the game after being cup tied last week.

Chester’s test is a Kettering side who have started the season in promising fashion. They’ve progressed to the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup with a midweek replay win over Leamington, and sit just one space outside the play-off spots in the National League North.

The last time we visited the Poppies the Blues needed an injury time penalty from Akwasi Asante to rescue a point back in August 2019.

Kick off at Latimer Park this weekend is 3pm.
