Preview: Scunthorpe United (h)
Chester look to further build on recent fantastic form, welcoming promotion favourites Scunthorpe United to the Leap76 Stadium.
Last weekend’s magnificent 2-0 away win at National League side Hartlepool United made it five wins in the last six for Calum McIntyre’s side and secured an FA Cup Round One tie with York City.
Charlie Caton was on the scoresheet for the third successive round in the cup, his sixth goal in nine games, as was midfielder Elliott Whitehouse – who is set to face his former side this Saturday.
THE OPPOSITION
Scunthorpe are looking to bounce back from relegation at the first attempt and have made a strong start to life in the National League North.
Jimmy Dean’s men sit in fourth having lost just two of their opening 11 matches, and could end the weekend top of the table if results go their way.
