PREVIEW | York City vs Chester

The Blues return to league action following a two-week break as they travel to York City’s brand new stadium.

A battling goalless draw at Kettering Town was our last National League North encounter, and it was our fourth clean sheet in six games. Then on Tuesday, we were narrowly beaten by a strong Stockport County side by a goal to nil in the Cheshire Senior Cup at the Deva.

York meanwhile won their Emirates FA Cup replay at Morpeth Town 3-1 in midweek, Kurt Willougby’s hat-trick proving the difference. Steve Watson’s side moved into their new Community Stadium earlier this year and have already had eight games this term in all comps at home –  winning four, drawing one and losing three of the fixtures.

Kick off this Saturday afternoon is 3pm.
