REPORT | Chester FC Women 1-1 Warrington Wolves

    Chester were held to a draw on Sunday at the KGV Sports Hub against Warrington Wolves.

    The Blues got off to the perfect start in Blacon when Sarah Redman converted after just six minutes from Molly Wood’s cross.

    However, the visitors were level after ten minutes, scoring what was the final goal of the game. Wood and Ellie Bradley both tested the Warrington ‘keeper before the break, before Wood thought she had scored on the hour mark but play had already been stopped due to a foul in the build up.

    Alisha Wright and Lauren Quigg both had chances as the second half progressed, but the visitors held out for a point.
