RIP Frank Salt

Chester Football Club is saddened to report the passing of Frank Salt, a respected and long serving volunteer at the Deva Stadium, at the age of 88.

Together with his wife Joan, Frank was a popular member of the Senior Blues and devoted countless hours to his beloved Blues over the years and was always prepared to turn his hand to any task, most recently ensuring the changing rooms were cleaned after every match.

Frank’s funeral is at St John’s United Reformed Church, Buckley CH7 3HX at 11am on Friday 7 June.

Following this there will be refreshments for everyone at The Glynne Arms, Glynne Way, Hawarden CH5 3NS at 12pm.
