RIP Wendy Potts
Chester FC are saddened to learn of the passing of much-loved volunteer Wendy Potts at the age of 82.
Wendy sadly passed away on Thursday and was a well-known and respected volunteer who gave half a century of service to the club.
Wendy started volunteering with the Blues back in the 1970’s and could always be seen selling Match Programmes in and around the East Stand and the Blues Bar throughout the seasons gone by.
She was also a regular on the Hipkiss Express supporter buses and would assist the Away Travel team on matchdays up and down the country.
Wendy was part of the fabric of the football club and everyone is saddened by her loss, we extend our sincerest condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time.
We will be remembering Wendy with a minute of applause prior to our next home fixture against Warrington Town on Tuesday 11th March.
RIP Wendy. Forever a blue.
