Saturday’s game is our annual MBNA Day!

Saturday’s game against South Shields is our annual MBNA Day fixture, where we celebrate our long standing partnership with MBNA – our Principal Sponsor since Chester FC’s reformation 14 years ago.

We celebrate our continued relationship on Non-League Day, as we look forward to welcoming hundreds of MBNA colleagues, family and friends into the Hipkiss Stand today.

We will also have MBNA representatives upstairs in the Legends Lounge as our Match, Ball and Programme Sponsors – as well as 11 mascots representing the credit card provider.

WORDS FROM OUR PRINCIPAL SPONSOR, MBNA

At MBNA, we’re delighted to have been working with Chester FC as their principal sponsor over the last fourteen years, which stands as one of the longest standing sponsorships in football history.

During this time, we’ve had the pleasure of work alongside the Duke of Westminster Foundation Fund to fund the opening of the King George V Community Sports Hub in Blacon, which opened its doors in the summer of 2022.

This community hub has provided access to inclusive sports sessions for people across the region, creating further accessibility into sports.

Victoria Dowd, MBNA Community Investment Partnership Manager, said: “The MBNA Community Investment Programme is extremely proud to be able to support the ongoing work provided by Chester FC’s Community Trust and their work within the local community. The achievements from the partnership over the last decade are truly immeasurable.

“We’re grateful to partner with the Trust to support young people from across the region with a range of backgrounds, opening pathways into sports by creating inclusive and welcoming environments.

“It’s great to see the Trust go from strength to strength, and the positive impact they make within the community is clear in the numbers. We can’t wait see what the rest of 2024 will have in store.”

With our support, The Trust has helped transform lives within the community.

    Some highlights are…

    • More than 8,500 people have engaged with the Trust’s community programmes.
    • 500 free holiday placements provided to local children.
    • 624 volunteer coaching hours to local schools in the most disadvantaged areas.

Thank you to MBNA for your support of #OurClub, and here’s to many more years!
