Solihull vs Chester: The Preview

    Solihull vs Chester

    Tuesday, September 5th

    Damson Park

    Kick Off: 19.45

The Blues head to Damson Park on Tuesday night to face Solihull Moors looking for their second win of the season.

The match was originally meant to be Chester’s opening game of the campaign – but due to failed safety tests had to be postponed leading to a delayed start to the season.

However, the Blues confidence will be boosted after Ross Hannah’s stoppage time equaliser earned the them a much deserved point against Torquay at the weekend.

Chester currently sit three points ahead of their West Midlands opponents with both teams having only won once in their last five games.

A controversial 3-2 defeat was the result in this fixture last season after Johnny Hunt was handed a disputed red card – leading to the Blues having to play the last 74 minutes with ten men.
