Tom Peers reaches century of Chester FC appearances!

One of our own, Tom Peers, marked a century of Chester FC appearances with a brace in today’s 4-0 victory over Rushall Olympic!

The 29-year-old forward is a graduate of the Blues Academy, making his senior debut for the club against Braintree Town on 7th December 2013 and scored his first senior goal in the 2-0 win at FC Halifax Town the following year.

Peers made a name for himself away from the Deva, scoring regular goals for the likes of Altrincham and Curzon Ashton, before returning to CH1 to reunite with Calum McIntyre on a permanent basis in October 2023.

An injury early on in his second spell with the Seals aside, Peers has been a consistent and reliable forward ever since, and has been amongst the goals this season in particular.

During 2024/25, Tom now has 15 goals in 37 appearances , which included a hat-trick in the 3-1 win over Oxford City back in November.

A calm penalty early on today and then a poachers finish in the second half saw Tom reach the milestone in style.

A hard-working striker, his work ethic never goes unnoticed, he is an asset to the club both on and off the pitch. Congratulations on reaching 100 appearances, Tom!
