    Vacancy: Goalkeeper Coach

    Chester Football Club are seeking a Goalkeeping Coach to work with our First Team and Scholar Goalkeepers.

    The successful candidate will become part of our strong, talented coaching staff, and be responsible for the technical and tactical development of our goalkeepers.

    This role is for 8-10 hours per week to include two first team and two scholar training contacts. There is some flexibility, however typically this will be on Tuesday and Thursday daytimes.

    Working closely with the First Team Manager and Head of Academy, you will plan, deliver and evaluate a goalkeeper coaching curriculum in line with our coaching and playing philosophy. You will also assist with performance analysis and providing feedback to goalkeepers to further their development.

    Ideal candidates will be professional, enthusiastic, organised and committed to setting high standards, and able to demonstrate the following:

    • Previous experience in a goalkeeper coaching role at Step 2 or equivalent
    • The FA Level 2 in Coaching Goalkeepers (minimum)
    • FA Safeguarding Children certificate 

    • Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF)
