Here’s What’s On…
ACADEMY DAY
This weekend’s game at the Deva Stadium against Buxton is our annual Academy Day!
The day is dedicated to Chester FC Academy and during half-time, we will be recognising the Academy’s achievements across the 2022/23 campaign when we welcome the players and coaches onto the pitch, where we encourage supporters to give them a fantastic reception.
The fixture will also see players from the Academy volunteering their time to host a bucket collection, with every penny going back into the department to continue the incredible work that is done year on year.
Before the game, raffle tickets will be on sale around the ground with the winning ticket claiming a pair of Chester FC hospitality tickets for a fixture of their choosing for next season.
Finally, one Academy player will be the first ever recipient of the ‘Peter Mitchell Trophy’, organised by the Senior Blues.
LIVE MUSIC
Outside the Blues Bar will play host to some live music before the game, as we’re delighted to welcome back Definitely KB, The Indie/Britpop Tribute act from 12.30pm.
Kelvin covers all the biggest bands from the 90’s era, such as Oasis, Stone Roses, The Verve, The Smiths, Paul Weller and many more. Come along early and have a listen!
FOOD & DRINK
GWG Catering/Fanz Food: There’s two food vans outside the Deva this weekend for supporters to enjoy!
The first street food van will be offering its usual exciting options of Loaded Fries, Loaded Nachos and Loaded Hot Dogs. Plus, there will also be a Loaded Katsu Chicken option!
A second van will also be in operation with plenty to enjoy, including Burgers and Slushies!
Ginger Cat Coffee: We are also pleased to welcome back Ginger Cat Coffee, who will be serving their barista style hot drinks outside the ground before the game in their pop up tent, as well as Iced Coffees!
Blues Bar: Our bar will be open before and after Saturday’s match and is stocked up with its usual fine selection of alcohol, soft drinks and snacks. The bar will be closing at 5.45pm this weekend due to a private function.
Kiosks: We also have our kiosks ready to go for once you get inside the ground – with a wide selection of food and drink on offer – including the famous Cowards Pies and fantastic Hot Dogs!
NUFFIELD HEALTH
Our Official Health and Wellbeing Partners, Nuffield Health, will also be outside the ground prior to the game handing out sports bags with plenty of goodies!
ACTIVITIES
Streetwise Soccer return to the Deva this weekend with supporters to enjoy their inflatable football darts!
Club Mascot Lupus will be in and around the Deva this weekend getting selfies with supporters with our selfie frame!
Chester FC Limited Edition Cards, designed by Official Club Artist Julie Littler, are once again on sale, and Julie will be joining us in the Legends Lounge and Club Shop for another Meet the Artist event!
