WOMENS | Chester FC Womens enter FA Cup for first time!

Chester FC Women will enter the SSE Women’s FA Cup for the first time in the club’s short history, entering the competition at the Preliminary Round stage.

The Blues Women have been drawn away to Tranmere Rovers Ladies with the winners progressing to the 1st Qualifying Round to face either Bury Women or Mossley Hill Ladies in a home draw.

The game will take place on Sunday 19th August 2018, kicking off at 1pm:
    Ellesmere Port Sports Village
    Stanney Lane
    Ellesmere Port
    CH65 9LB

Blues Women Manager Dean Vian had this to say: “What a fantastic opportunity it this is for the squad to compete in such a great competition, arguably the greatest.

“I have already told the players they will look back in years to come and be proud they were the first group to represent the club.

“Although we have been given a tough draw against a top quality established outfit in Tranmere, we will do our homework, have them watched and come up with a game plan to beat them on the day.

“Being a local derby and the venue where we also play our home games I hope we can have a big Blues following on the day and hopefully with some luck we can pull off an upset.’’
