YOUTH | Interview with Calum McIntyre as Academy season takes off!
Tomorrow, another new adventure beckons for the Chester FC Academy side.
Chester visit York City on the opening day of the National League Football Academy season. The Blues will compete in the North Division, clocking up almost 2000 miles of travelling, facing the likes of Hartlepool United, AFC Fylde and FC Halifax Town. Kick off tomorrow at York City’s Training Ground will be 1pm, and we will have Twitter updates over at www.twitter.com/cfcyouthacademy.
For Calum McIntyre and his staff, it will be all about working their magic once again. Last season the Blues won Division J of the U19 Alliance League, fending off the likes of Fylde and also Salford City, but once again the task has got even tougher ahead of the new season.
It’s a challenge the youth setup will relish. Chester FC TV caught up with Academy Head Coach Calum McIntyre ahead of the new season…
