YOUTH | Voluntary Coaches and Goalkeeper Coaches wanted!

    Chester FC are recruiting voluntary coaches for their Junior section!

    The Junior section are looking for enthusiastic, talented and dedicated coaches to join their ever expanding coaching team.

    These roles will be particularly suitable for anyone who is looking for an environment which will help them to improve and develop as a coach. The successful candidates will work alongside a number of other ambitious coaches and will receive support and mentoring from an experienced coach/coach educator.

    The programme caters for age groups from Under-8’s through to Under-16’s with a full-time Scholarship cohort at Under-18. Our Junior age groups take part in a varied fixture programme ranging from development games against Premier League, Football League and highly rated Non-League opposition.

    The Academy exists to produce players for Chester FC’s first team and beyond and has produced 15 league debutants for the Blues in the previous six seasons. Graduates such as Sam Hughes, Tom Crawford and James Jones have all progressed from the club with moves to Football League Clubs with a host of other names featuring in the club’s first team.

    All applicants must meet the below essential criteria:

    • FA Level 1 in coaching football
    • Ability to obtain a full enhanced DBS check
    • Available for at least one evening per week and a Sunday morning

    Desirable

    • FA Level 2 or above in coaching football.
    • Full driving licence and access to a car.
