BREAKING | Blues announce first five pre-season matches

    Chester FC are delighted to announce our first five pre-season friendlies ahead of the upcoming 2020/21 campaign.

    The Blues will be on the road on all occasions, against a range of sides from Steps Three to Six of Non-League Football.

    Our first game will be against Cheadle Town of the North West Counties Division One South (Step 6) on Tuesday 1st September. This comes after the squad begin their pre-season training on Saturday 28th August.

    We then visit two Step 4 sides in a matter of days – facing off against Marine on Saturday 5th September before a trip to Glossop North End on Tuesday 8th September.

    Northern Premier Side Buxton (Step 3) will then host Chester FC on Saturday 12th September – with the Derbyshire side already confirming a 600 capacity will be allowed into the ground based on government advice.

    Our fifth confirmed Pre-Season encounter comes on Tuesday 29th September away at Step 5 North West Counties side Padiham.

    All Saturday games will start at 3pm and all Tuesday kick off times are to be confirmed.

    More pre-season friendlies will be announced in due course.

    The Blues are currently scheduled to get their competitive season underway on Saturday 3rd October.

    Please note, all ticketing and capacity measures will be communicated by the home side for these games.
