BREAKING | 1993/94 CCFC Retro Top available for pre-order now!
The famous 1993-94 promotion season is the inspiration for the latest Chester City retro shirt, which can be pre-ordered now for Christmas delivery.
Bringing back memories of Colin Greenall, David Thompson, Roger Preece and loan star Graham Lancashire, the yellow and black away striped shirt was worn as player-manager Graham Barrow led the team to second place in the old Third Division.
Sponsored by Corbett’s Bookmakers, the original kit was manufactured by EN-S but will be reproduced by Ribero following the huge sucess of the club’s first retro design over the summer with almost 300 fans snapping up the limited edition shirts.
Proceeds from the sale will again be shared between the club’s charity Chester FC Community Trust and City Fans United.
“There was a fantastic response to the first retro shirt and we’re sure there will be a similar take up for this shirt, especially as it is a season many of us will have such fond memories of,” said Jeff Banks, CFU director of fan engagement.
“It is a great way of celebrating our club’s history and raising vital funds for the Community Trust and the CFU at this time.”
The 1993-94 away shirt is available on a limited pre-order basis and costs £35 (plus postage if required).
